Loki is the sort of bad guy who would completely do everything in his power to be horrible and evil and try and kill his brother only to think, "Was it worth it?" When he succeeds and instantly feel regret.
The way I was thinking, like say, Thor went MIA or something, and the soldiers brought back the helmet...I don't know...Loki keeping the helmet to remember him by, or something along those lines. What I was thinking is completely non-canon of course, but still. Amazing work!
He looks sort of wistful to me, like he is looking at something he can't have. Not necessarily his brother's power but perhaps just the life he had before, which could be why he took on his Asgardian form? Sorry if I read too deep! It's beautiful, I love your work!
this is so pretty! I feel bad fort the bad guys who do the things they do because they don't wanna feel alone or they grew up misunderstanding domething and it that turned into hatred and then they get killed.
Aaaah! I've been staring at this for about two days straight... I should probably go ahead and put it in my favorites >D> This is just a really fantastic piece, I love the mood, colors, and the composition, and you've drawn and colored Loki beautifully. (The pieces you've linked to are excellent, too!)
