original>>on TUMBLR too>> [link] the first sketch is digital and I added a bit of color to decide the overall atmosphere.. the second is traditional..I copied by taking measurements from the screen XD loool it's NOT a good example to follow!
Lol...If you can draw, that mean you're already is an artist, my friend! You don't have to wait for a next life, now sit down and drawing whatever inside your head (Cars, girls, dogs,...) Doesn't matter if it's good or bad... The important thing in here that you were tried your best and the people will appreciate it.
yes I know that Mr. Rude but there's still a method to it, layer types to consider. this artist's lighting always seem to have a distinct look to it and I can always tell just from the effects + a few drawing style elements that it's their work. So understanding that method would be useful since I can never seem to pull off many contrast and lighting effects with my smaller-than-average knowledge and use of editing software. if they're obvious to you how about you put up your own wip and tutorial? -_-
Waaah, awesome and inspiring wip as always ! Looking at your hard work gives me courage to keep giving my best You put so much details ! Really, well done sweetie ! Always making real illustrations, telling stories and not just "showing".
I feel like the shading makes the subject matter less clear - even if it does look beautiful. Seeing the original I didn't make out that she was a mermaid! Perhaps its just me, but I prefer the forth picture of these?
