Asexuals VS the world by Kibbitzer Asexuals VS the world by Kibbitzer
or "you just need to find the right one!", "don't worry you'll understand...you're just confused" and MORE...

100% Based on real and useless conversations with our friends, relatives, and random people.

that's our story: too many people assume asexuality doesn't exist.
we are just OR liars OR confused OR childish OR traumatized by particular events OR the worst pervs (WTF??)
the real asexuality is NEVER a considerable option..(my friend is always called gay because os his hair LOL)

this pisses me off..really! I don't understand what the problem is! misinformation? rejection? WELL...

Question: WHAT THE FUCK ASEXUALITY IS??
Answer: basically is the lack of sexual attraction to anyone or low or absent interest in sexual activity.
It may be considered the lack of a sexual orientation, or one of the four types thereof, alongside heterosexuality, homosexuality, and bisexuality. A study in 2004 placed the prevalence of asexuality at 1%.

BUT! this is a complicated topic. we are all different and there are various sub-categories blah blah blah.
read here for more informations. >> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asexuali…

BTW we exist! we are not fucking legendary creatures JEEZ! now we understand how Santa Claus feels!
exactly as heterosexuality, homosexuality, and bisexuality is NOT a choice.
we can appreciate a nice pair of boobs, a bootie or some cool abs ~
we can be romantic, we can love and want to marry someone ~
the only relevant difference is "we don't care about your...your... (ノ⊙ヮ⊙)ノ~『✧~*YOU KNOW WHAT*~✧』"

THANK. YOOOOOUUU! THIS FUCKING THING, BEAUTIFUL ART, JUST TOTALLY RELATABLE COMIC RIGHT HERE, GAWD DAMN!!
EVERY GODAMMIT TIME, I FRICKIN' SWEAR TO LARRY!! THE KING OF FNAF FOREVER!!!-Markiplier free2use  *eye slightly twitches*

...I know the pain too well. I apologize for that rant. I just had to get that off my chance. X''D

This literally describes my conversation with every person I've had to eventually tell in some way or another. Usually they can't grasp it at first because it's kind of foreign to them, which is completely understandable, but sometimes they end up with the conclusion of me being a lesbian. That, or the occasional perv who refuses to believe in a world where sex doesn't exist for some relationships. Assuming I need to get laid, I guess. Oh, and that it's a phase. I got them all basically.

I mean, I could be bi-asexual. Since they say you never choose who you get to fall in love with, and that would mean gender doesn't necessarily always play a part..? Maybe.. I really just like the look of masculinity. Not the junk in the bottom trunk. I'm willing to be open-minded about it, haha. They may just know me better than myself.

I'm getting off topic. Anyway, just wanted to say thank you for making this. It helps shed some light on what the Asexual community goes through in their daily lives, and that we CAN relate with others in the LGBTQ about misunderstandings. As for fellow asexuals, it's nice to see something we relate with, like myself. Hell, even non-ace can relate with questions like assuming you were raped or actually the "true" perverts just because you don't necessarily want to date. Even if it's a small piece like this comic, it still counts in towards a world where we can all be a bit more open-minded.

I'll be looking forward to it as I drink my soda in a giantass tea cup, if such a thing does exist, as the world burns outside my window. Hope you have an awesome day! X'D

I really love the comics you've made about this.
I'm pansexual and the love of my life is asexual.
At first i just didn't understand what it meant and was also confused, which scared my partner thinking i wouldn't accept her but I didn't want to bring any harm, I just DIDN'T GET IT. And after asking questions and doing some research, i was finally able to understand why an asexual person doesn't have interest in sex or is uncomfortable with it, is when I read a comic that put it as "It's like someone picking your nose"
Me "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH".
Yes, people will always ask, just like people not understanding and asking what i am, as a pansexual.
But whats great about it is that some of them WANT to understand  is open minded. :3

OMG i am the same CX due to a conversation that involved my brother being set up for a date he couldn't easily refuse - we were talking and i said 'why can't he say he just doesn't want to date anyone right now' and then my mom said 'he'd be considered gay if he did that' -_- then i said 'well, i'm not dating and i don't really have an interest - does that make me a lesbian' and she and my brother both said yes >_<
=_= i am not a lesbian - i do like guys~! but i don't really have an interest in sex or dating - unless the right person shows up then i don't know but so far nothing
i just prefer to stay in my 2d realm - watching tv, anime, cartoons - reading manga, drawing, making videos for yt etc....i don't really have an interest in sex but i can still find someone attractive ^-^

Awesome! I really appreciate these comics.
I tend to get patronizing reactions like "you're just confused, you'll understand" and even "but you still have time to change" (ahahah seriously, you little fuck? Am I the one that needs to change?). When I mention I have a boyfriend then I'm suddenly a liar and a hypocrite :la:

Seriously, who looked at the word asexual and thought "this would be a good term to use for people who don't want to orgasm a lot"? Thats not the same as homosexuality or heterosexuality or pansexuality because those terms describe who a person is ATTRACTED to. You can't be attracted to "not having a lot of sex" because that's not a person. Get a better term to describe what you are feeling. Really, the main reason people don't understand this is because it sounds like you just made it up to be apart of the LGBTQ family.
Also, did you ever think the reason it is %1 prevalent is because a lot of people feel this way but they don't think it's a big enough deal to label themselves as someone with a low sex drive because it doesn't control their lives nearly as much as being homosexual or heterosexual?

Actually, asexuality simply means you are not sexually attracted to anyone. You can be romantically attracted to someone, but there are also people who are aromantic. I think you mean people with low or non-existent libido, which can include people of all sexualities.
I have a girlfriend and I love her(I'm panromantic), I also like looking at pretty/sexy people, but there is no sexual attraction, it's all aesthetics.
A reason ace people are often don't seem 'gay enough' to be part of the LGBTQA+ family is because of the oversexualization we have in our society.

These type of "questions" are awfully familiar to me and i like to listen them and in order to cope with that lack of intelligence, i listen the monologues as i'm reading a humor relief part of a comic book and the fact that you turned them into a comic proves my point.

I bid thank you from the bottom of my heart.

P.S. i find you and your friend aesthetically cute.

Personally, I have a gf, and we have sex, but it's more me having sex with her than anything else and it rarely ever arouses me(never, if we leave automatic bodily responses out). But I love to see her happy and it fulfills me to pleasure her, just not in a physical way ;) Then again, it's different for everyone and when a partner will leave you because you don't want sex let them go.

I'll go ahead and say it: bummer, 'cause you're missing out.

But if you're happy with who you are, that's all that really matters.

Also it may or may not be a good thing because that probably means that you're a little less crazy than everyone else who's gone through puberty.

one thing I wonder though....lets say someone was born asexual, what happens to such a person when they THEN experience something bad in sexual direction? would it have a different effect on them then on a heterosexual person? it may sound like a weird question, but I wondered quite often about it, how to define sexual attraction? and how much my own traumatic past is really affecting my current sexuality or if it's not affected by it anymore (since it's long time ago) it makes me quite often question what I am and where I belong....so many people seem to be comfortable "labelling" themselves with certain characeristics, but I just can't seem to find this for me....how to know if im asexual? how to know im bi and not just "confused"? how to know if i would be lesbian but just wouldnt admit it? how are friendships different from relationships? how is sex supposed to feel or sexual attraction even? how do i know im not just confusing "someone likes me" with being loved?
so many questions....

"we can appreciate a nice pair of boobs, a bootie or some cool abs ~

the only relevant difference is "we don't care about your...your.."

The way you describe it, you have a sexual orientation, you just don't have interest in intercourse. Why would strangers be quizzing you on this subject unless you made it public information? People are probably confused about what it is that you want everyone to know about your sexuality because you are confused.

You confuse sexual, romantic and aesthetic attraction.
Basically, aesthetic attraction is "That/they look good, I like to look at it/them"
Romantic attraction is "They are great people, I like/love them and want to be in a relationship/marry them"
Sexual attraction is "They look hot, I want to have sex with them"
Often romantic and sexual attraction overlap or are the same, but that's not always. I am panromantic and asexual. I can appreciate my partners looks(or anyone else's for that matter) and love her, but feel no sexual attraction whatsoever(for anyone).

It's all the same. Any attraction we feel for another person is based on a reproductive assessment. Good-looks simply communicate to us that the person has quality genetic material to pass on to offspring. Men like large breasts because it indicates the woman will be able to feed many children - that's just one example.

Wanting to be in a relationship also has a reproductive basis. You partner with someone you instinctively feel will be a good parent for children. If reproduction wasn't the reason we paired with other people then we would not care about their looks, like how the love and admiration you have for your parents probably has nothing to do with how they look.

Sex is just the act of actually administering or accepting the seed. Having the desire to pair with another person, but no desire to accept or administer seed means there is something hindering your arousal.
